Finish Strong Campaign
Dear OLA
Families,
On Monday, December
7 a Town Hall Meeting was held to inform our families of the current financial
situation at OLA. The reality is that several years of operating deficits have
caused a serious shortfall in our current budget. We are in need of an estimated
$250,000 to complete the school year. While this is a large number that needs to
be raised there was great news shared regarding the first donations made. Two
anonymous donors have stepped forward and given matching gifts of $100,000 and
$50,000! The generosity of these donors and the love that they have for OLA is
overwhelming. But the task at hand is far from over. As a matter of fact it has
just begun.
We need you support
during these difficult times. Begin by supporting our school with your
prayers. Pray unceasingly that our God will provide an answer to our
financial problems. Next, consider making a donation to our fund raising effort.
We need your financial support. No gift is too small (or too
large). It will pay dividends many times over for our students. This email will
be followed by another with more information and a form for submitting your
donation.

Our school is a
great! We have great students from great families doing great things all under
the umbrella of our Christ-Centered Learning Community. For those unable to be
at our town hall meeting you need to know that the feeling in the gym was not
one of despair. Rather it was one of hope for the future, gratefulness for what
OLA has done for its students, and determination that OLA will
prevail.
